2022 Trinity County Regional Transportation Plan (RTP)

The Trinity County Transportation Commission (TCTC) is the Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) for Trinity County. The Commission is comprised of an executive secretary and a five-member board of supervisors representing the various districts in the County. The TCTC is responsible for planning the needs of the transportation system in the County, including roadways, transit, rail, aviation, and bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.  The Commission is responsible for maintaining and updating the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) every 5 years in accordance with State guidelines and to provide consistency with the Region’s General Plan Housing Element. This most recent update effort will commence during 2022 in coordination with regional stakeholder groups. The last RTP for Trinity County was completed in 2016.
